This was our second stay at Laura’s property.
We couldn’t wait to come back, such a comfortable and luxurious experience.
The rooms are very spacious and elegant and everything is beautifully clean. Highly recommended!

Beautiful accommodation, the photos are fabulous, but upon arrival it is so much more. Hugely spacious, gorgeous and comfortable.
Set in beautiful surroundings.
Very comfortable beds, fabulous bathroom and a wonderful open plan living space / kitchen, well equiped with everything you could possibly need.
Laura’s directions were spot on and finding the house was extremely easy.
We will miss waking up to the gorgeous view.
If in the area again we would definitely return.

An extremely spacious and exceptionally clean property set in beautifully, peaceful surroundings.
Kitchen was very well equipped with good quality cookware and tableware, it was a joy to cook in. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was brilliant with a great shower and plenty of hot water.
Perfectly placed for walks straight from the front door and Hardwick Hall very close which is definitely worth a visit. This was out favourite Airbnb ever and we had an amazing week with beautiful weather and beautiful surroundings, we definitely felt like we’d recharged our batteries

Really enjoyed our stay here! A spacious, quiet and well equipped property with great views, the home has everything you could need for a lovely holiday. To top it off, the host was very welcoming, helped with any questions/recommendations and gave us a brilliant tour around the farm.

We had a short but lovely stay at Laura’s place. The house was spacious and well furnished in a quiet location with pleasant views over the farm. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This was a real find, not many places make you wonder how nice it would be to live there. Really felt like more of a luxury home than a rented holiday let, much bigger than it looks in the pictures and immaculate throughout.

We feel so lucky to have stumbled across this incredible home. We were looking for a house for our family of 4 that would be close enough to see relatives. This was not only the perfect location but the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay.
The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It felt so easy to relax and enjoy the views and what the house had to offer. One of the best parts was getting a private tour of the farm and the animals from Laura. She spent so much time answering all of our kids questions and going above and beyond to help make the kids involved in feeding the animals etc.
We will most definitely be booking this house again and can’t wait to return!

Had a wonderful stay at Laura’s place for a long weekend with my mum and horse celebrating my Birthday. The barn is beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything you need.
We were very lucky with the weather so made the most of the patio area with the lovely views of the surrounding area. Being able to keep an eye Danny in the field from pretty much every window was brilliant.
As for the hosts, they were beyond amazing! Such a lovely warm welcome and helped Danny settle in. Nothing was too much trouble and the yard and facilities are lovely. Being introduced to the lambs and having the privilege of bottle feeding them was a highlight.
The area is gorgeous, full of greenery and lots of horses, sheep and birds around. Being right on the Five Pits trail was another highlight. The trails have great paths and it’s easy to get around. We did a few of the smaller routes as I had to keep up on foot with the horse, but it’s easy to go much further afield.

We had a lovely stay at Hazel Tree Lodge. It was very quiet and relaxing. Everything was immaculately clean and very comfortable.
There is plenty to do in the area and we were very pleased to come back to such a lovely place at the end of a busy day.
Laura is great and very friendly. She even let the children groom the ponies which made their holiday!

Hazel Tree Lodge is spacious and comfortable, with an extremely well equipped kitchen and views over pastures where Laura’s sheep and horses graze. Nearby attractions Hardwick Hall, the Heights of Abraham and Bolsover Castle are short drives away. There are numerous walks available from the door.

Hazel Tree Lodge was stunning, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
The lodge was so clean and very homely, it as great balance of modern with some beautiful rustic touches. They literally have thought of everything you could possibly need for a holiday. It is set within beautiful surroundings with lots of great walking and cycling trails.
My personal highlight was the evening visit to see the farm animals – it brought back fond memories of my childhood. Laura is so engaging and has a genuine interest in farming which she was just so happy to share. There were lots of options for day trips nearby however we enjoyed the local area so much that we didn’t venture further afield.
Laura was an amazing host from the start of my booking right to the moment we left. She provided lots of local recommendations and had the perfect balance of being there when we needed her but gave us lots of space and privacy.

One of the best places I’ve ever had. Large and spacious house, well-equipped with a full kitchen. New amenities after complete renovation, all perfect, furniture honest handicrafts no IKEA. Quiet place overlooking pastures and horses. Private parking in the yard behind the gate.

We had a lovely stay. It was perfect for us. The house was spacious, spotless and beautifully appointed. There are lots of lovely touches. Everything we could have needed was provided from kitchen to bedding, tea coffee, milk and games. It’s a peaceful location with lots to do near by such as Chatsworth, the Heights of Abraham and Bakewell as well as local walks. Laura was the perfect host, around if we needed her and even put aside time to introduce us to the horses, sheep and cats! It made our daughters week. We’ll be back I’m sure and will let our friends know what a lovely place this is to stay. A five star place.

Hazel Tree Lodge is a fantastic property, very spacious, beautiful internal decoration/furniture, green field views, it contains everything you would need for a short or longer stay. The property has plenty of parking space, the large outdoor patio area is perfect for relaxing in the sun or eating outside. It is nicely located within walking distance of a good local butchers, supermarket and various food takeaway shops. It is an ideal location for getting into the peak district, it is close to Hardwick Hall, and is also suitable for travel into areas of Nottinghamshire such as Sherwood Forest. There’s various countryside walks that can be done from the lodge. The host Laura is the icing on the cake, as she makes herself available for any support you need, is really friendly and genuinely wants you to have the best stay. I would not hesitate to book again, I would recommend.
